The Role
The Communications Project Management team is seeking a project manager to support the Communication Consultants with the development and production of standard communications for delivery to participants. This role will work in a team environment and partner with the Communication & Education team, print vendors, content creation specialists and other internal business partners in support of the day to day production management of client communications.
The Communications Project Manager will work with the Communication Consultants in a pooled environment to effectively support the development and production of Workplace Investing (WI) communication projects. We are looking for an individual to provide support and recommendations to the Communications Consultants on production related processes to ensure quality, reduce risk and produce materials in the most cost efficient manner while adhering to service level goals.
Managing a high volume of projects and communications for delivery to participants.Developing and updating simple/standard communication pieces based on Communications Consultant direction. Includes handling the legal review cycle, production and Quality Control process; including all necessary follow-ups with the Communications Consultants, internal business groups and external print vendors.Identifying risks proactively and developing alternatives to ensure timely resolution.Supporting the day to day production management of client communications including planning, scheduling, execution, issue resolution, and reporting & reconciliation.Negotiating with and leading the production efforts of external print vendors as well as coordinating and consulting with internal business partners on design and equipment capabilities.Managing the production of marketing materials, and one time administrative/marketing mailings, such as new fund or service announcements, corporate action projects, and regulatory communications.Participating in internal non-client projects.Providing production recommendations based on project specifications, design features, cost considerations and equipment capabilities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Three to five years of project management experience preferred.Minimum of one year Defined Contribution and writing experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field.Print production experience desired.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.Fidelity experience preferred.Strong organizational, project management and problem solving skills.As a team member you will be managing multiple projects; you thrive in a fast pace deadline driven environment and work well collaboratively as well as independently.You possess strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.You are customer service focused with analytical and creative thinking skills.You are detail oriented with editing and proofreading skills.You have an ability to work with multiple systems and tools.

The Communications Project Management team provides support to the Communication and Education organization in the development and execution of participant communications to Fidelity's Workplace Investing clients across all markets with the focus on providing outstanding customer service.
