Job Description Summary

　　At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

　　We are seeking an intern to work as part of our Materials team supporting Combustor Centre of Excellence (CoE).

　　In this role the intern will have the opportunity to learn about material practices, suppliers monitoring and materials using lean tools (such as 5S, structured problem solving, daily management etc.) and measure improvement actions and KPI.

　　Job Description

　　Essentials Responsibilities

　　Development / implementation of the planning and control system

　　Make production planning visual

　　Kanban test in the intermediate warehouse

　　Support time and inventory level analysis

　　Analysis of material shortages in the factory

　　Use of office + SAP package

　　Qualifications/Requirements

　　Master’s Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Material or Management Engineering from an accredited University;

　　English and Italian fluency, written and verbal;

　　PC Proficiency (Excel, Access, Visual Basic);

　　Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions

　　EU Work Permit.
