　　Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Head Cheerleading Coach at Weeks Middle School.Job Summary:Provides leadership to develop and maintain a high-quality cheer program that promotes school spirit. Supports each participating student in achieving a higher level of skill, an enhanced appreciation for the values of discipline and teamwork, and an increased level of selfesteem.Successful candidates for this position will possess:1. Previous experience in cheerleading as participant and/or coach or relatedposition.2. High school diploma orequivalent.3. Valid driver’s license.4. The ability to drive students to competition sites asrequired.5.
