The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section ofCardiology, is searching for full-time faculty members who specialize inCardiac Imaging. Clinical responsibilities will include outpatientclinic and inpatient service, cardiac imaging reading, and cardiologyconsultation. Other duties will include teaching and supervision oftrainees and students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcomeapplicants with an interest in cardiac imaging research. Academic rankand compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) aredependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board Certified in internalmedicine and cardiovascular disease, and 4) have training and experiencein advanced echocardiography, including transesophagealechocardiography. Assessment of applications will consider training andexperience in echo guidance of structural heart disease interventionsand in cardiac MR/CT/PET.
