Our client, located in Traverse City, MI, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Production Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $22.89 with $0.50 hour premium paid for 3rd shift.

What’s the Job?

Production associates work in our assembly and machining operations, which produces gear products for a wide variety of customers and industries.

Production associates start on 2nd (evening) or 3rd (midnight) shifts, will be cross trained on assembly and machining processes, then able to pursue internal opportunities on various shifts once trained.

What’s Needed?

Mechanical aptitude

Hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment

Strong work ethic

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

Ability to perform basic math (algebra geometry), read prints and use gauging device
