Plumbing Design Engineer - Revit, AutoCAD, Calculations, Drainage Systems - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00147Salary Range: $55K - $80K Permanent Position with Benefits.A small fast-growing Mechanical Engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Plumbing Design Engineer to grow with them. This position offers excellent growth potential. This position is open due to their current Senior Plumbing Engineer retiring soon.REQUIREMENTS• BSME is required. Active Ohio PE License is highly desired (or close to obtaining it)• LEED AP is preferred.• 3 - 10 years' experience doing plumbing engineering and design for a variety of facilities is required. Candidates must be well versed in A / E Design process and specifically the development process for creating construction documents.• Fire Protection experience is a plus.• MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) experienced• Revit & AutoCAD are required.• Candidates must have design experience in some or all of the following; Performs system design layout and sizing for assigned projects. Responsible for coordinating the design with other disciplines, attends design coordination meetings with team members and client's representative. Prepare calculations, prepare construction documents & specifications, design distribution systems and plumbing systems (water, gas, sanitary).• Candidates must be willing to do production drawings, redlines, visiting job sites, ECN's, client meetings, review of all work prior to submittal.Local candidates only.
