　　Responsibilities

　　EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) EDM, also known as Electrical Discharge Machining, is a form of spark erosion used to shape mold components through the use of electrodes. Your responsibilities include:

　　Efficiently loading, operating, and monitoring multiple EDM machines using your own programs and independently controlled tools (electrodes).

　　Determining clamping methods and work sequences.

　　Ensuring machine and tool maintenance.

　　Detecting deviations and uncertainties.

　　Inspecting your own work and occasionally that of others according to measurement reports.

　　Optimizing mold components.

　　Making improvement proposals for mold components.

　　Planning departmental activities.

　　Guiding and coaching (Junior) EDM Operators, including supporting their work and explaining procedures.

　　Complying with safety regulations.

　　Using tools and machines correctly.

　　Reporting unsafe situations to management.

　　Addressing colleagues regarding unsafe situations.

　　Complying with laws and regulations related to safety, occupational health, and the environment.

　　Technical Education
