Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities
Supports all CMM programming and Vision System programming requirements of the facility in support of development, implementation, improvement and maintenance of SPC functions for production and quality systems. Assists in the development of inspection and testing plans, risk analysis and process validation to ensure the quality of new and modified products and processes in a CNC Manufacturing Environment. Adheres to industry best practices and performs duties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Required Skills / Capabilities
Advanced knowledge in ASME Y14.5M, Dimensioning and Toleracing and blueprint reading.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to write reports and correspondence.
Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
Education and Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
High school degree or equivalent required.
Experience in a regulated environment required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in programming Measuring Software PC-DMIS is preferred.
ASQ CQT (Certified Quality Technician) is preferred.
CMM Programmer certification are preferred.
