Positions are on-call throughout the winter months, pay rateof \$25/hour. Responsibilities: Shovel snow, scrape ice, and applyde-icing materials (salt, sand, etc.) to designated walkways and pathsto maintain safe and clear conditions for pedestrians. Maintain andensure the proper functioning of shovels, snow blowers, salt spreaders,and any other tools or equipment used for snow removal. Prioritizesafety for yourself and pedestrians. Be mindful of slippery surfaces andhazardous conditions while working. Follow a predetermined schedule toensure timely snow and ice removal, especially during or aftersnowstorms. Perform physically demanding work in varying weatherconditions, often in cold and inclement weather. Collaborate with othersnow shovelers to efficiently clear larger areas and assist inemergencies. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor wheninteracting with property owners or occupants who may request snowremoval services. Drivers License not required, but must have reliabletransportation to get to locations in the Greenfield area.
