　　Job Description

　　To oversee the successful execution of craft bar experiences and family entertainment by engaging with guests and creating memorable vacation moments.

　　Responsibilities

　　Essential Functions:

　　Oversee set up and break down of daily crafts and activities according to the schedule, effectively handle guest opportunities, demonstrate creativity, crowd management and Tanner enthusiasm.

　　Excellent skills in microphone usage and public speaking, moderate skills in technology and AV equipment with a willingness to learn more.

　　Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings.

　　Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities; ability to communicate with guests of all ages.

　　Attend and participate in Beach and Pool Operation meetings and monthly All Together Get Together

　　Associate must be able to walk throughout property, have a valid driver’s license, communicate clearly and effectively to our guests, multitask effectively.

　　Maintain clear communication with associates and guests.

　　Be knowledgeable of Omni's culture.

　　Knowledgeable of other Omni outlets and company events to promote to guests.

　　Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

　　Lead pool deck in organized games and activities with energy and enthusiasm.

　　Work daily crafts and activities by providing guest assistance including but not limited to, providing guests with property information, on property directions, quality service, energetic execution of crafts and activities, escorting guests while providing top tier customer service.

　　To enthusiastically greet and converse with guests

　　Assist with routine cleaning of the craft hut and all activity equipment (e.g. sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash, picking up towels and trash, organizing and inventory) and cleaning up after any craft/activity to include beach, pool, conference center etc

　　Engage guests of all ages in different ways to explore Omni Amelia Island and surrounding areas with a variety of options

　　Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed

　　Answer phones with greeting and assist guests with any questions or reservations

　　Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests

　　Work holiday special programs as scheduled

　　Treat everyone with courtesy and respect at all times.

　　Qualifications

　　Tools and Equipment:

　　Equipment: Computer and programs to include ResortSuite, Xola and Outlook, A/V equipment to include speakers, microphones, basic tools to include drills, craft supplies and activity equipment to include snocone machine, dry goods etc

　　Working Environment:

　　Interior and exterior with exposure to weather conditions

　　Expose to hot and cold temperatures

　　Craft hut, Pool deck, Beach, department storage areas.

　　Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)

　　Valid drivers licenses

　　Able to lift and lift up to 50 pounds

　　Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time
