　　Job Summary:

　　Performs a technically correct Electrocardiogram, to include but not limited to Code BLUE tracings

　　Explain procedure of test and functions of equipment to patients under going the test

　　Maintains a statistical information log of testing and patient information and assists with and assures the completion of clerical work related to the performance of EKG s

　　Insures that all charges/credits are entered into the computer system

　　Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

　　High School Diploma

　　One year experience in EKG studies

　　One year in a health care related field, in Hospital or Physician's setting

　　Successful completion of all required orientation programs
