　　SMX is seeking a driven candidate to fill a Solutions Architect role. This role is crucial in helping our customers navigate the challenges and opportunities of the modern cloud landscape. This position centers around crafting high-impact technical solutions tailored to high-profile client engagements. Particularly within regulated industries, providing cutting-edge, compliant, and efficient solutions is paramount. We're looking for someone who doesn't just understand the technical nuances but also values the importance of innovation and client-focused problem-solving. As a Solutions Architect at SMX, you won't just be a technical expert; you'll be an industry pioneer, setting benchmarks in a constantly evolving space.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Take direction from and provide clear and timely updates to delivery and/or sales leadership.

　　Demonstrate working knowledge of AWS funding programs, incentive structures, and overall go-to-market approach.

　　Prioritize effectively and handle multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.

　　Implement efficiency improvements and automation in technical processes.

　　Lead architecture discussions and clarify complex cloud concepts for stakeholders.

　　Ensure agility and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

　　Address and resolve project-related issues promptly.

　　Assess business and system requirements to cater to customer needs.

　　Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and estimate project Level of Effort (LOE).

　　Work closely with sales team to develop and write comprehensive responses to customer proposals.

　　Offer technical expertise for select customers and support ongoing delivery efforts.

　　Develop and innovate using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

　　Monitor and manage cloud costs, suggesting optimizations.

　　Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on cloud security protocols and compliance.

　　Establish and enforce cloud governance policies.

　　Provide training and mentorship on cloud best practices to internal teams.

　　Engage with cloud service providers for negotiations and issue resolutions.

　　Develop and test Proof of Concept (PoC) for new cloud technologies.

　　Document cloud architectures, design patterns, and operational procedures.

　　Identify and mitigate potential risks in cloud projects and strategies.

　　Maintain and attain AWS and Azure certifications.

　　Design and implement cloud solutions adhering to compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, and HITRUST.

　　Conduct security assessments and compliance audits regularly.

　　Collaborate with legal and compliance teams for compliance standards interpretations.

　　Develop comprehensive documentation on security and compliance aspects.

　　Required Skills:

　　10+ years of experience in technology with demonstrated mastery of Cloud Services.

　　Proficiency with CI/CD tools and container management tools.

　　Capability to deconstruct technical architecture into tasks and plans.

　　Exceptional customer interaction skills and professionalism.

　　Strong knowledge of security best practices (NIST, HIPAA, etc.), including frameworks like FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, and HITRUST.

　　Leadership qualities to guide junior team members.

　　Experience in agile environments and familiarity with Scrum.

　　Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

　　Willingness to contribute to organizational growth.

　　Ability to travel up to 25%.

　　A technical degree or an additional 6 years of relevant experience.

　　Desired Skills / Certs:

　　BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or a related domain.

　　Over 5 years of hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.

　　AWS Solution Architect Professional or related certifications or Azure equivalent.
