We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our team in our Russellton, PA location.Position DetailsGeneral Responsibilities:Support individuals in the performance of household activities (cleaning, organizing, laundry, etc) as needed and in accordance with their treatment plan.Teach and promote various activities of daily living (money management, hygiene, time management, keeping a schedule, social and leisure activities, etc) as needed and in accordance with their treatment plan.Display knowledge and understanding of severe and persistent mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven services system.Serve as a role model and mentor to individuals and promote hope and empowerment.Help to ensure and protect individual rights, as well as, educate and encourage participation in activities or programs that support individual recovery and advocacy.Communicate effectively with all LTSR team members to ensure continuity of care.Participate in in-service training, conferences, and workshops as assigned and approved by the Director.Uphold the Mission, core values and philosophy of Merakey.Learn and uphold the Mission of Merakey LTSR Services.Become familiar with all applicable Policies and Procedures and Union Contracts.Conduct oneself in accord with the Merakey Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Integrity standards.Present oneself professionally and respectfully in dress, language and demeanor.Interact professionally and cooperatively with management, coworkers, and other professionals.Use Merakey property and resources effectively and efficiently.Refrain from conducting personal business during professional work hours.Perform other related duties as required.Position Specific Responsibilities:Conduct intake assessments and clinical evaluations of potential residents.Lead the development of treatment plans with individual receiving services. Update treatment plans in collaboration with the individual, Psychiatrist and other members of treatment team at a minimum of every 30 days for each assigned individual.Provide a minimum number of required hours of individual psychotherapy weekly assigned by the program director.Adhere to the alternative outpatient payment structure to ensure individuals receive the adequate treatment and care in accordance with their treatment plan.Oversee and/or provide group psychotherapy sessions ensuring clinical integrity and the use of evidence-based practices.Determine proper modalities of treatment and provide appropriate therapy for each assigned individual in accordance with his/her treatment plan.Serve as primary case manager for all individuals on caseload. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination of service delivery with other departments, agencies, stakeholders, and identified individual community supports, consultation with treating Psychiatrist, and admission/discharge planning.Ensure documentation is properly and accurately recorded for each individual to meet state regulations, payer requirements and Merakey standards. This includes, but is not limited to; regular review and update of assessments, treatment plans, ensuring daily progress notes are consistent with treatment goals, etc.Provide ongoing assessment of mental health and treatment strategies/approaches for individual's receiving services.Work in partnership with individuals receiving services and program staff to create a recovery oriented, team environment where each individual's point of view and experience is recognized, respected, and in which self direction in treatment planning is maximized and supported.Adopt and sustain a culture of safety in the manageme t of behavioral health crisis and residential emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, staff and community.Transport and monitor residents in the community when clinically or medically appropriate with Director approval.Provide ongoing progress reports and updates and collaborate with external teams to ensure continuity of care.Provide effective supervision, mentoring and training to LTSR staff.Provide staff guidance, coaching and disciple as appropriate.Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.Participates in staff evaluations as assigned.Ensures adherence to Merakey policies and procedures, LTSR policies and procedures, and PA Code Chapters 1101, 1153, 5100, and 5320.Ensure proper incident reporting occurs through Merakey, state (HCSIS), county, and payers.Available for intermittent on call responsibility as assigned.Submit all documentation in a timely fashion.22. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Master's degree or higher in a generally recognized clinical discipline required.Preferred to be registered, licensed, or certified to practice if applicable.
Two (2) year of mental health paid or unpaid experience required.
Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.
