JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: This position is responsible foroperating carpentry equipment to assist in building parts of interiorand exterior of ships, and shipyard buildings at our vast, 63-acrefacility. Detailed Description: Follows directions under intermittentsupervision. Review blueprints or specifications to determine workrequirements. Mark reference points on construction materials. Measurematerials or objects for installation or assembly. Cut wood componentsfor installation. Install wooden structural components. Assist indocking and undocking of vessels. Troubleshoot problems with allequipment as it arises. Proper storage of equipment. Diagnose and solveproblems of all kinds. May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside craftas required. Attendance is an essential function of the job.
