Kelly Science is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a well-known client located near Clarksville, Indiana.

　　Shift: Overnight (Tuesday – Saturday 3:00am – 11:30am)

　　Employment type: Full Time; Direct Hire

　　Summary:

　　As the Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for infectious disease testing which includes sample preparation and DNA extraction, performing PCR, processing all samples with accuracy and reporting results to clients.

　　Job duties include:

　　Performing sample preparation and DNA extraction

　　Running the firefly, Veriti, Accufill and Quantstudio 12k

　　Manually pipetting steps with small volumes and into a 384 well plate

　　Reviewing and assisting with protocol developments and adjustments

　　Preparing solutions and reagents needed for testing

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree in biology, microbiology, molecular biology or a scientific related field

　　1 year of experience working within a high complexity laboratory

　　Knowledge of sterile technique and cleaning for a PCR laboratory
