TheHR Generalist will support daily functions of the Human Resource (HR)department including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and leave, andenforcing company policies and practices. Ensures compliance with stateand federal labor laws and provides appropriate communication tomanagers and supervisors regarding new regulations. What You\'ll Do:Assists in the coordination of human resources programs such asrecruitment, onboarding, benefits, and training Approves transactionsand input changes and relevant information into the company\'s HRISResolves routine issues and employee concerns such as medical claims,documentation requests, training enrollments, etc. Monitors theeffectiveness of human resources policies and recommends revisions ormodification to meet the needs of the organization. Assist employeeswith day-to-day HR questions and requirements. Ensure that the HRdepartment maintains compliance with federal and state regulationsconcerning employment. Establish positive employer-employee relations byprotecting the interest of the employee and the company in accordancewith company policies and core values, as well as governmental laws andregulations. Participate in the development, assessment, andimplementation of company-wide programs to improve retention, quality ofwork life, employee morale, and diversity awareness. Prepare and/ormaintains regular and special reports to assist in the attainment ofcompany and department objectives. Perform such individual assignmentsas management may direct. We\'re Looking for Someone With: BA/BS inHuman Resources Management or related field Minimum of 3 years ofexperience in an HR Generalist role (preferably in a manufacturingenvironment) Proficiency in the administration of special leaves, (FMLA,ADA, and Workers\' Comp) Excellent knowledge of HR/personnel practicesand principles, and all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health, andsafety laws and regulations. Excellent planning, time management,decision making, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills required. Proven ability to provide effectivecustomer service for internal and external customers. Strongorganizational and detail-orientation skills in order to manage acontinuous workflow in a high volume, multi-tasking environment. Solidproblem-solving skills.
