ABOUT US: - We believe that everyone deserves a home!

Breaking Ground operates nearly 4,000 units of housing across New York City, along with housing in upstate New York and Connecticut. Supportive housing - affordable housing paired with services designed to help people maintain their homes for the long-term - is widely recognized as a proven and cost-effective solution to chronic homelessness.

But we didn't stop at providing housing. Breaking Ground's programs and services help people experiencing street homelessness - especially those who have been on the streets the longest - to come indoors. Through our Street to Home outreach program and transitional housing resources, we help people get, and stay, on the path to a permanent home.

The Clinical Coordinator, Light Touch Services provides supervisory oversight to a new and growing team of Housing Retention Specialists providing time-limited services focused on housing retention, resource development, and community integration using a developing Critical Time Intervention (CTI)-informed model to individuals and families exiting shelter and moving into permanent housing in several new developments in Brooklyn and Queens. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that service provision is of the highest quality and is consistent with CTI-informed principles in the developing model. The Clinical Coordinator oversees a staff of 2-4 Housing Retention Specialists and, depending on program need, may carry a small caseload of more complex clients. The position also liaises with community stakeholders, funders, property management, and real estate development companies, and serves as a member of the Light Touch Services’ management team. This position's hours are flexible and may require some evenings and weekends.
