Client Business Analyst I
Description
The Client Business Analyst is responsible for turning data into insightful discoveries that will lead our teams to a deeper understanding of consumers’ digital behaviors, campaign results and opportunities for digital marketing impact (ROI). You are savvy at using metrics from a number of different platform sources and are able to pull together deep analysis that will help wrap-up programs and sell in future ones. You are the type of person who is always looking for new ways to measure digital and emerging programs and will take the initiative to meet with different partners, all the while keeping the team up to date on the latest metrics insights. In the world of digital, you would consider yourself a generalist – being able to work across analytics in many different areas (search, social, web, media etc.).
Responsibilities:
Designs, maintains, updates and produces digital analytics dashboards, as well as reports across multiple client service teams;
Provides detailed, regular reporting to internal and client teams including analysis and recommendations;
Serves as subject-matter expert on digital and social media measurement;
Manages all tagging, traffic pixels and tag management tools;
Manages and tracks all media campaigns;
Uses third party and proprietary research to help strategy and account service teams make informed, strategic campaign recommendations;
Uses social media listening tools to develop insightful reports on various client topics;
Works with media partners to distill and analyze their data;
Uses sales data to analyze the impact of digital activity on sales results and/or works with external partners to set up other ROI studies; and
Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
3-4 years in a client analytics role
Must understand Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Twitter Analytics
Strong understanding of digital media, web metrics, social media and campaign reporting
Experience using sales data (Nielsen, IRi) required
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Excel and PowerPoint (and data visualization)
Strong presentation skills and a desire to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Passion for uncovering data to make insightful strategic decisions.
