Job Description

　　A client in the Herndon, VA area is looking for Secret Cleared FPGA Software Engineer to join their team. This person will work alongside a tight knit group of engineers that specialize in spacecraft payload and system development (especially in the confines of implementing very large amounts of functionality in extremely small, power-constrained environments); unique system development; ground control and operational software development; embedded software development; and unique cyber capabilities. They will be working together to integrate FPGA components with software applications and embedded systems. They will be responsible for developing embedded software code for spacecraft bus avionics, spacecraft payloads, and ground support equipment. They must be comfortable developing and implementing efficient FPGA designs using VHDL, meeting performance, power, and area requirements. This role is fully onsite working on a 9/80 schedule.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-Ability to obtain a TS clearance

　　-6 plus years of Software Engineer experience in C/C++ and VHDL programming languages

　　-Experience implementing FPGA IP cores and libraries and writing custom FPGA logic in VHDL

　　-Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field -Spacecraft Software Development Experience null
