Job Description

The Water Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, talented, Civil Engineer , with a focus in water resources and water/wastewater infrastructure, with design and construction engineering experience in municipal projects in our Jacksonville office. This role within AECOM offers an exciting opportunity to support the Water Resource design teams in North Florida by working with different teams to complete a variety of projects that involve water resources, project design and construction services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services and will include activities focused on design of municipal stormwater and water/wastewater projects

Communicates project tasks between offices – high level of coordination and communication skills required.

Responsibilities may include overseeing the planning and design of various project elements, the preparation of project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans and specifications, permitting packages, and documents for inclusion in the final project deliverables

Overseeing construction phase engineering services

Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 6 years of related experience.

Experience as PE in municipal water resources and storm water infrastructure engineering design, assessment and rehabilitation projects

Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida

Experience in Construction phase services

Preferred Qualifications:

Civil Engineering degree preferred

Experience mentoring or supervising other engineering professionals

Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience

Positive attitude, good aptitude, and strong initiative will integrate well with our existing group of outstanding professionals

Experience in construction phase services

Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with diverse teams

Demonstrated proven track record of leading technical engineering and successfully managing water and wastewater projects

Additional Information

Relocation assistance is not available for this role

Sponsorship is available for this role

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $85,000.00 - $140,000.00.
