CEFC is seeking a gifted associate pastor/director to lead our Children's Ministry. As the Children's Ministry Pastor/Director, you will provide leadership and direction to staff and volunteers as they connect kids with Christ and partner with parents to develop the next generation of disciples.
CEFC is a multi-site church in the greater Harrisburg area with our broadcast location in Carlisle, PA. Carlisle is a historic town known for its restored architecture and tree-lined streets once walked by George Washington. With mountains on the horizon, trout-filled streams, and the Appalachian Trail nearby, it is a great place to call home. If you are looking for big-city amenities, Harrisburg is just across the Susquehanna River. Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City are all within easy driving distance.

ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITTMENTS:
This is a full-time staff position requiring 40+ hours per week. CEFC's work week is Tuesday through Friday and Sunday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and develop the Children's Ministry team.Develop, plan, and execute effective children's programs and events that connect kids to Christ, make disciples, and evangelize and reach out to children outside the church.Recruit and train volunteers and teachers.Teach from the Word in ways suited for children's ministry.Effectively manage Children's Ministry budget.Embrace innovation and creativity while adapting to growth and change.Understand and keep current on safety and security requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A vibrant relationship with Christ and commitment to CEFC's doctrines, vision, and values.A heart for children and parents.Ability to communicate the Gospel by various means to children from birth through 5th grade.Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire staff and volunteers.Event planning and/or project management experienceStrong leadership and communication skills.Superior interpersonal skills working with a variety of people,Solid theological groundingPositive attitude and approach to problem solving.
