About Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

  The CRNA is an Advanced Practice RN who works in collaboration with the physician and independently to provide anesthesia services. Integrates education, management, leadership and consultation into clinical roles and functions in relationships with nursing peers and other professionals and individuals who influence the health environment.

  Education: Must have completed a program of study designed to prepare an RN for advanced practice and which meets Board of Nursing standards for practice as a CRNA. Experience: Preferably 5 or more years in hospital/surgical services.Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Requires current licensure to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Florida.
