Essential Functions

Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

Fills medication carts on a daily basis.

Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

Repackages bulk medications.

Compound sterile and hazardous products

Maintain drug inventory, including purchases, returns, restocking, stock rotation, backorders, recalls, shortages and loan/borrows.

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent Preferred

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Licenses:Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy in good standing as pharmacy technicianPTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with in 90 days of hire
