Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced CFO to join a well-established and successful organization. The CFO plans and directs all accounting operation finance functions, accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluates accounting and internal control systems, and leads departmental staff. Additionally, this person is heavily involved in strategy of business decisions.

Your responsibilities in this role
Guide all operations of the finance department
Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports
Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed
Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective
Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time
Able to perform additional tasks beyond formal job duties
Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
Review and revise deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations
Requirements
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required
CPA or MBA preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including previous CFO experience
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Month end closings experience
Foundational knowledge in inventory
Financial statement preparation experience preferred
Budgeting experience
Strong attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
