FTE: 0.900000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The CertifiedNursing Assistant (CNA), under the direction and supervision of aRegistered Nurse, provides delegated age-appropriate care in aculturally and ethnically sensitive manner. The CNA assists patientswith the tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment relatedto basic nursing skills, personal care skills and basic restorativeservices. The CNA practices and performs what was taught during theirCNA training and certification or learned during basic nursing coursesat an accredited school for professional nurses. The CNA may be asked toprovide continuous safety observation. This job reports to the NurseManager/Assistant Nurse Manager of the assigned unit and the RNs on dutyon each assigned shift. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:High School diploma or equivalent is required.
