Maintains pens by utilizing loader, scraper or tractor to remove accumulatedmanure, fill in holes, etc. Performs the following duties.

-Identifies pens to be cleaned through communication with management andreceiving personnel.-Maintains road surfaces, bunk pads, pens and alleys by filling inholes, controlling dust and removing accumulated manure; takes care toleave hard pack intact while also maintaining pen slope and grade.-Ensures operation of equipment by completing servicing requirementsspecified by manager (may include: fueling, checking fluid levels,checking filters, greasing, and cleaning equipment).-Complies with all applicable safety rules and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:-Experience operating heavy equipment.-Valid driver's license.-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPETENCY:Expected to demonstrates understanding of Company policies, adapt to changesin the work environment, exhibit sound and accurate judgment, observesafety and security procedures, and report potentially unsafe conditions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposedto airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to work near movingmechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the workenvironment is usually loud.

Climbing 4 to 5 steep steps to board or off-board equipment several times perday. The operation of heavy equipment requires good eyesight, head, andneck movement along upper body movement. Leg and feet movement for brake,clutch, and accelerator. Good depth perception for pen maintenance andloading trucks. Walking on uneven surfaces in all weather conditions.
Lift, push, pull, carry, sit, stand, jump, kneel, bend,twist, reaching, climbing. Working around livestock.

Must be able to work scheduled weekends and holidays and in all weatherconditions. Ag-Exempt from paying overtime pay, all hours paid at straighttime. No housing.
