Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations. Position HighlightsPrepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapyWho We Are Our employees are our most valuable resource. 　　Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required .High School Diploma or GED is required .*Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to their medical and physical needs.
