About the Unit/Department/Team The central supply team is a positive, collaborative group who manages the supplies, equipment and purchased services for various departments at Lakewood Health System and focuses on getting the right item to the right place at the right time for the right price. Mission for Position Maintains supply areas through inventory, organization, shipping and receiving to provide efficient access to supplies for all departments as they provide high quality care. Duties & Responsibilities Organize and maintain medical supplies within Central Supply. Distribute inventory and shipments to various LHS departments. Receive deliveries and keep records on Purchase Orders and non-Purchase Order shipments. Coordinate the shipping of outgoing packages and correlating pickups. Maintain department supply areas. Assist department manager, inventory specialist and other department staff as needed.
