Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking aResort Activities Managerfor the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Responsibilities
Participate in designing and implementing appropriate program curriculum, utilizing safe, fun and interactive hands-on activities that provide learning as well as entertainment.
Formulate, maintain and supervise all departmental policies, procedures, regulations and standards within established state licensing guidelines and hotel policy.
Participate in marketing of programs including involvement in Omni Barton Creek newsletters, brochures and logo items.
Facilitate ongoing upgrading and expansion of children and adult programs as needed.
Responsible for assisting with back up activities in a pre-assigned indoor facility for guests when there is inclement weather.
Responsible for maintaining financial and program records relating to recreational activities, events, programs, etc.
Responsible for working with other Resort departments to create and implement activities, events, and programs
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training department staff.
Oversee planning, assigning, and directing work, conducting performance appraisals and all aspects of performance management for staff.
Address complaints and concerns from guests and resolve any problems for Recreation.
Oversee departmental checkbook, forecasting and expenditures tracking.
Administer payroll for staff ensuring associates are paid accurately.
Attend company training as required.
Assist in leading monthly department meetings.
All In/Omni culture.
Responsible for additional tasks assigned by your supervisor based on business levels
Must be flexible to assist other operational departments within Food and Beverage division based on seasonality and business levels
Qualifications
Must have flexibility with work schedule, including willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
