As an CentralServices Representative, you will answer the main, advertised numbersfor the Froedtert & Medical College Clinics. Assist patients withgeneral information and provide customer service using knowledge of theentire clinical enterprise and a variety of resources, policies andprocedures. Serve as a liaison between outside individuals (i.e.referring physicians and patients) and Froedtert & Medical College ofWisconsin faculty and staff in responding to requests for services andinformation for the entire enterprise. In addition to providinginformation and directing calls for the Froedtert & Medical CollegeEnterprise, also schedule and register patients directly for over 100physicians in seven or more specialties and all clinical enterpriselocations for such specialties. Help patients schedule with the rightphysician at a time and location most convenient for them and completefull registration and insurance coverage set up to ensure proper paymentfor services rendered. Responsibilities: Triage all calls to determinecaller needs and provides excellent customer service in doing whateverpossible to meet their needs. Responds to inquiries and/or routes callsor messages to appropriate individual or area. Receives and dispatchesmessages and information for the entire enterprise, as the numbersanswered are widely advertised to the public. Schedules, cancels andreschedules appointments via phone for multiple specialties andlocations including providing directions, instructions and otherinformation regarding appointments. Encourages patients to sign up forMyChart and the Froedtert & MCW App to help manage their healthcareelectronically and steps them through the process to get activated onthese online tools. Completes full registration including setting upinsurance coverage for new patients and verification of registration andcoverage information for established patients. Runs electroniceligibility to verify coverage information and ensures the insurance isaccepted by our physician groups. Completes MSP questionnaires withMedicare patients. Works through referral queues, faxes, email, andother correspondence following detailed guidelines to schedule patientappointments, create referrals, track completion and communicate back toreferring physicians if unable to schedule.
