JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will beresponsible for developing innovative and unique design solutions thatalign with project and client needs. To do this you will lead theoverall electrical system design, including lighting systems, powerdistributions systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control,and communication systems for building related projects. Additionalresponsibilities include: Providing leadership and coordination withproject team members from project inception through completion. Creatingschematic, design development and construction drawings and documents.Performing required design and code compliance calculations.Collaborating with architectural and construction professionals todeliver projects on schedule and within budget. Reviewing shop drawings.Verifying that completed systems meet performance specifications.Performing site inspections and observing field construction at keyproject junctures. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Qualified candidates will have the following: Associate degree inelectrical or architectural design. Ten years of experience producingconstruction documents and models. Experience designing electricalbuilding systems (lighting design experience is a plus). Proficiency incomputer operation for engineering design programs (REVIT software andBIM360). Enthusiasm for the design/build approach includingcollaboration with architectural and construction professionals.Effective working individually and within team environments. Strong timemanagement, organizational and priority setting skills. High initiativeand passion for learning.
