The Program Performance and Planning (PPP) team advances a culture of learning, strategic program development, and data-driven performance management in pursuit of the agency’s mission and vision. PPP partners with program managers to select and develop new interventions, analyze and interpret data, assess model fidelity and program effectiveness, train and coach staff, and develop program resources.

  About the Position

  PPP seeks a part-time Case Record Reviewer to support our Family Support and Empowerment Programs (formerly known as Preventive Services) through case record reviews that assess model fidelity to Solution Based Casework (SBC) and the quality of our practice. This position will report to the Supervising Performance Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of child welfare including SBC, Family Treatment and Rehabilitation (FTR), and/or Family Support programs, but this is not required. The position has flexible work hours, but will be required to join occasional meetings during normal work hours.

  Responsibilities:

  Complete minimum 10 case record reviews per month of families receiving Family Support and Empowerment services with a focus on Solution Based Casework, safety and risk, and supervisory guidance on supporting strong practice of their case workers.

  Report back to program leadership on any areas to celebrate and areas of concern and needing immediate follow-up.

  Participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed to provide insight around SBC and quality casework practice

  Conduct targeted case reviews as needed

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1 year of related experience

  Experience with NYC child welfare programs and ACS requirements

  Preferred: Knowledge of Solution Based Casework (SBC), Family Treatment and Rehabilitation (FTR), and/or Family Support programs or experience with families affected by substance abuse and mental illness

  Position Type Part-Time (15-20 hours per week), flexible work hours Salary/Compensation$30-37 per hour, commensurate with experience

  Location Hybrid position: primarily remote, but should be willing to travel throughout NYC as needed.
