The Equipment and Systems Support Technician oversees the daily and long-termlifecycle and strategic management of software and technology-related hardwarewithin the Human Services Department. This includes: monitoring and trackinginventory; developing, implementing, and/or updating procedures forthe replacement of organizational assets; monitoring software and/orhardware licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, andparticipating in the research and analysis of application needs and problemsfor Human Services employees.

ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this position:
Maintains and administers the County's inventory management system tomonitor and track equipment deployed to Human Services (PCs, monitors,docking stations, County issued cell phones, mi-fi's, etc.).Plans and implements PC replacement projects with both state and countypartners.Coordinates with onboarding staff to provide Human Services' new hires withequipment packages.Maintains the requirements, workflow, design, delivery and improvementof software applications.Participates in the research and analysis of application needs and problemsand provides feedback and ideas for improvement.Uses a County vehicle to transport equipment across four offices withinLarimer County (2555 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins; 1501 Blue SpruceDrive, Fort Collins; 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins; and 200Peridot Avenue, Loveland).Works with Larimer County IT staff to ensure assets are replaced upon retiredate and all Human Services' staff have necessary equipment, and to workon projects and implementation of new systems/processes.Serves as backup to the State Security Administrator as needed.To view thefull job description, visit -

Demonstrate familiarity with database concepts, data extraction, andreporting.Have the ability to read and understand applications.Have knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to businessapplications.Show familiarity with applications analysis and issue resolution (troubleshooting) skills.Possess strong user and client relationship management skills.Have the technical aptitude to understand assigned applications in sufficientdepth.

Supplemental InformationThe typical schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8amto 5pm.
This position will be in the office four days per week (or as needed) andwill work remotely one day per week. You will be required to have adequateinternet access and space for remote work. Larimer County provides an annualremote work stipend to assist with equipment an office supply needs forremote workspaces.
