Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of one year of echocardiography work experienceis preferred. Pediatric/Neonatal Cardiac Ultrasound experience ispreferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of a CAAHEP or CMA approvedCardiac Ultrasound Technology Program is required. RDCS/RCS credentialsaccepted in lieu of education. Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasonography isstrongly preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Completion of RDCS/RCS isrequired within 24 months of employment. RDCS or Registered CardiacSonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International isstrongly preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Supportfor the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent isrequired within 90 days of hire.
