DescriptionCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspects and calibrates a wide variety of tools, gauges, fixtures, dies and special parts for dimensional accuracy. Issues gauge recalls for inspection and re-calibration.Maintains the gauge control databases for gauge calibration scheduling. Maintains all necessary logs, records and reports for gauge calibration and receiving inspection, including all personal tools for employees.Issues gauge recalls for inspection and re-calibration purposes.Responsible for editing and writing procedures concerning gauge calibration.Compiles and updates detailed reports of calibration findings.
