Responsibilities

The Buyer will provide Operations and Purchasing support for the implementation of programs and other new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate prospective supplier site visits and perform evaluation of capabilities.

Prepare and analyze Requests for Quotes.

Negotiate best possible price and terms.

Initiate purchase requisitions for products and services.

Expedite orders upon customer request.

Monitor supplier performance.
