Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, TX, is seeking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in numerous aspects of our business sales and operations. This internship is structured for a one-to-two-year term and is intended for students in their freshman up to junior years. This internship offers the potential to transition into a full-time position upon graduation.

Responsibilities:

Perform data entry and analysis tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Conduct independent research and gather relevant data to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Assist in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, utilizing advanced Excel skills for data organization, manipulation, and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to assist in day-to-day operations and contribute to process improvements.

Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, providing valuable insights and suggestions.

Support the team in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

Take initiative and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, and data visualization.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proactive and eager to learn new concepts and skills.

Previous experience or coursework in data entry, research, or business analysis is a plus.
