Description

　　Robert Half is looking to bring in a temporary to hire Staff Accountant with exceptional organization skills and know-how into a growing organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, many aspects of internal reporting will be your responsibility. You will promote the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will play an active role in compliance, collaborate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. A highly involved position, it works to produce Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. Based in the Melbourne, Florida region, this company offers an engaging and mulit-faceted opportunity where effort is rewarded.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Commentate on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Ready complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Organize capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Carry out fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Take part the in implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

　　Execute month end close, journal entries, with little supervision

　　Partake in annual closing processes
