Description
We are looking for a highly analytical Business Intelligence Engineer to help develop data solutions and generate insights that will help us launch, run and manage AWS Regions more efficiently and effectively.
Key job responsibilities
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc.
Partner with operations/business/finance teams to discover, design and implement KPIs
Work with the team to prototype and automate solutions
Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow our team’s data analytics capability
Aggregate and analyse data from multiple sources and compile it into a digestible and actionable format

Thames Valley, POST-BER, GBR
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of SQL experience
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
