Quartz isseeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our EnterpriseData Management (EDM) Team. This role is responsible for the design,development, deployment, and maintenance of the business intelligenceand reporting solutions integrated with Enterprise Data Warehouse, datamarts, and operational databases. Under the guidance of the EDM staff,the BI Developer will work with the business and IT stakeholders todeliver efficient and scalable business intelligence implementations.This position will also interact with a wide variety of business usersthroughout the company to evaluate the state of data at Quartz anddeliver business intelligence capabilities in a reliable, easy-to-usemanner. Partner with business owners and data analysts to review,interpret, and optimize business requirements for reporting solutions.Translate reporting requirements and report specifications intotechnical BI solution design. Design semantic layer and SQL-basedbusiness intelligence, reporting and analysis applications. Execute unitand/or parallel testing with aid of business owner and data analysts, asnecessary. Develop, implement, and maintain standards and procedures forthe design and use of business intelligence reporting and analysistools. Provide maintenance and support for BI and reporting solutions,including but not limited to: Provide technical expertise on informationintegration, and the implementation and use of business intelligencetools. Develop and execute SQL queries of medium to high complexity inorder to respond to information requests. Assist business users withfunctional questions in the Business Objects tools.
