From facilities delivering life-saving therapies and ensuring clean water to enabling the connection of people through all modes of transportation and providing access to technology – we're integrating a multitude of these solution elements to build the smart environments of tomorrow.

Start your Jacobs career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow.

  Your Impact:

We challenge what is currently accepted, so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions for tomorrow. If you’re interested in a long and rewarding career working at a global leader in water and wastewater engineering, and with the industry’s best and most innovative engineers, then Jacobs is where you belong.

We’re seeking a driven and curious client-focused Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to support delivering world-class water and wastewater projects for our municipal clients as well as to support our water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team.

As a key member of our Water team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as a Senior Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects—planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with increased technical complexity, from concept through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning.

We look to you to support clients through the life of a project from studies, planning, design, compliance and permitting, construction, and start-up. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You’ll have time in the field to conduct existing facility assessments and identification of rehab needs as well as the opportunity to provide services during construction. You will demonstrate your technical expertise and business acumen as you maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies to support project permitting, communicate and work directly with clients, as well as mentor our early career professionals.

Also, you’ll assist other project managers on large, complex projects, including task management.

Join our Project Management Community of Practice and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way.

Grow your career with a company that is constantly pushing for more innovative and cost-effective solutions to give more people access to clean water and a healthier environment.

Jacobs health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Your health. Your well-being. Your security. Your future. Eligible employees and their dependents may elect medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, and if eligible, a deferred compensation plan, and Executive Deferral Plan. We have an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for eligible full-time exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave. Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock.

  Here's What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Licensed Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.), or other state P.E. with commitment to obtain Pennsylvania P.E. within 1 year

Substantial professional project expertise on the design of complex treatment or conveyance projects

Large diameter tunnel experience or program management experience

Strong technical background, including extensive knowledge of all project phases (including conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration)

Strong understanding of current federal, state, and local wastewater regulations, design guidelines, and permit requirements to support project success

Extensive experience developing strong client relationships to market and deliver solutions that meet our clients’ needs

  Ideally, you’ll also have:
