Our idealcandidate can safely operate CNC Press Brakes. Our Forming Departmenthas open positions including basic Operator level, Set-up Operator andProgrammer. Essential Duties: Determine forming requirements of partsfrom drawings provided by computer at work station. Setup and documenttooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations Verify accuracy ofmachine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts. Operator will berequired to maintain safety around and cleanliness of the machine. Inprocess quality checks will be required by the operator to maintain allrequired tolerances and quality. Communicates all production relateditems to next shift operators. Responsibilities & Qualifications:Responsible for safe forming operation and setting machine parametersand inspection of parts to assure conformance. Must be able to read andunderstand blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finishedproducts Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts areprocessed, stacking completed parts properly on tables or pallet toeliminate double handling and work efficiently. Detects equipmentmalfunctions or out of tolerance parts. Reports all machinemalfunctions. Ability to calculate, blank sizes, bend locations,appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed Communicateswith, production control, quality and other shop personnel forassignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. May performother duties as assigned. Must be able to learn to drive a Forklift.Must meet physical requirements for this position as follows: Stand orSit, Move, Use hands/Fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, talk/hear,see, carry weight/lift (up to 50lb\'s) in a repetitive motion.
