Job Description
At the plant level, the Bosch Production System / BPS Specialist will lead the training and implementation of BPS / lean manufacturing principles and methods. The BPS Specialists provide support for implementing and adhering to BPS standards and improving BPS maturity.
Drive achievement of BPS plant-wide maturity:
Lead the development, roll out, and presentation of training materials related to the BPS principles and concepts.
Support the plant-wide improvement process in order to reach the planned BPS maturity with sustainable results for the plant.
Coach associates in the BPS system approach and ensure the usage of standards daily.
Support the development of the plant-wide BPS Vision.
Support use of Daily Leadership Routines to ensure teams are developing in their use of the routines and problem solving.
Participate in plant and value stream level projects for BPS Maturity development (such as implementation updated 5S standards, DLR processes, SCIP processes, lean logistics, and I4.0 to enable plant-wide improvements).
Lead BPS training activities and support the development of BPS competencies for the ChP full organization.
Drive improvements of BPS Maturity Assessment:
Understand BPS Maturity Assessment topics and rating system.
Support the completion of bi-annual Value Stream BPS self-assessments.
Coordinate and ensure completion of Value Stream BPS cross-assessments.
Manage ongoing tracking of KPI metrics and status to target, as well as reporting as part of the BPS assessment process; escalate to plant management if there are KPI gaps that will impact the assessment score.
Manage BPS Assessment OPL and support closing of open items.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
Understanding of and experience using the Bosch Production System or similar lean manufacturing systems and concepts (Toyota Production System)
Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential
Enthusiastic self-starter with the aptitude to lead cross-functional teams
Project planning, time management, and organizational skills
Aptitude to prioritize workload to meet established targets
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
Travel (including internationally) for benchmarking and IPN activities as needed

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $115,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
