　　Job Title: Contract Bookkeeper

　　Location: East Downtown

　　Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to provide comprehensive financial management services in East Downtown area of Houston. The qualified candidate will have deep accuracy skills and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and maintaining fiscal records. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that is 100% onsite. Pay ranges from $25-$28 hourly.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Accurately record incoming checks and ACH payments into Business Central Cloud system.

　　Maintain and balance the company’s general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.

　　Meticulously apply payments to the correct customer accounts through the established process.

　　Efficiently record incoming vendor bills (invoices) and create a payable list.

　　Responsible for running checks and processing credit memos.

　　Regularly liaise with the executive team to keep them apprised of the company's financial status.

　　Perform general office duties, which include but are not limited to, ordering office supplies, mail processing (both in and out).

　　Manage relevant business records/documents, which include but aren't limited to, employee records and customer records.

　　Execute additional tasks as assigned by the management.

　　Requirements

　　Minimum qualifications:

　　Previous bookkeeping experience

　　Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

　　High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

　　Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (eg. Business Central Cloud) or other major ERP system
