Tuition Financing Consultant

　　The Tuition Financing Consultant job delivers a variety of investment services and products that facilitate the tuition financing process. Working under moderate supervision, this job works closely with the investment team and develops personalized packages that satisfies the tuition financing needs for the client.

　　Key Responsibilities and Duties

　　Consults with portfolio managers and financial advisors and develops frameworks that evaluate tuition (e.g., 529) savings plans.

　　Analyzes the tuition financing market and utilizes benchmarks to offer competitive financing solutions.

　　Gathers data on college tuition costs and identifies variables that may affect financing goals.

　　Produces various graphs and presentations on tuition financing options.

　　Organizes 529 savings plan materials and presents options to clients for tuition financing.

　　Conducts tuition financing research and reviews market analysis reports.

　　Serves as the point of contact for tuition financing solutions.

　　Educational Requirements

　　University (Degree) PreferredWork Experience

　　2+ Years Required; 3+ Years PreferredFINRA Registrations

　　SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 63Physical Requirements

　　Required Experience

　　2 years’ experience in a sales role

　　FINRA Series 6 & 63 (can be obtained within 120 days)

　　Preferred Experience

　　3+ years’ experience in a sales role

　　Financial Services experience

　　Bachelor's degree

　　A strong combination of sales and analytical skills

　　Excellent communication skills

　　Bilingual in English & Spanish highly preferred

　　Excellent planning, organization and time management skills

　　Highly skilled, presenter and facilitator; ability to deliver a compelling message with a sense of humor and engaging/dynamic presentation style in a variety of settings

　　Creates immediate credibility and impact with a variety of audiences

　　Persuades and influences others; gains acceptance of ideas from others; ability to present and communicate concepts

　　Position requires approximately 50-60% travel within territory

　　Base Pay Range: $66,800/yr. - $100,600/yr.

　　Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
