Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform duties of inspector, including visual and mechanical inspections:
Evaluates and processes non-conforming material per standard;
Evaluates components resulting in assembly issues and reporting according to standard process;
Evaluate and process Customer Returned Materials (RMA) and report according to standard process;
Set up, program and run measurement and test equipment to ensure quality requirements are met;
Material analysis making pass/fail determination by chemistry content analysis;
Performs process capability studies, Gage R&R, and SPC data analysis and makes recommendations based on findings;
Evaluates and processes materials returned from customers;
Perform containment activities from customer complaints, assembly issues or as directed from Quality Manager, Quality Engineer and/or Supervisor;
Maintains, and coordinates calibration schedules for quality measurement equipment;
Supports in-house and supplier quality programs and conducts audits and reviews as assigned;
Performs Operator duties and other related duties as required.
Qualification Requirements
1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with inspection knowledge;
Strong computer skills including Excel, Email, FileMaker, File management including folders, renaming files, moving files, editing files, creating and editing pictures and other data files;
Working knowledge of Datum’s and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances in form, orientation, location, and runout;
Working knowledge of Gage R&R;
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, Trigonometric Functions);
Strong communication skills- oral and written;
Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Requirements
Proficient in LN to process transactions and inquiry navigation;
Program Vision inspection equipment;
Foundation Level in ABS;
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, QCI;
Lean Certification highly desired;
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
