  Musco Sports Lighting is currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Technical Specialist in Oskaloosa, IA. The individual selected for this position will provide in-depth electrical and component tech support to our customers. This position will be a primary point of contact on issues related to the networking and communication features of our products. Previous experience performing troubleshooting and technical aptitude is a must for this position.

  Job Opportunity: Technical Specialist

  Location: Oskaloosa, Iowa (not a remote position)

  Are you passionate about problem solving and contributing to a team with innovative ideas? Musco Sports Lighting is currently hiring a Technical Specialist to join our team in Oskaloosa, IA. Since 1976, Musco Lighting has been a global leader in designing and manufacturing sports and transportation/infrastructure lighting solutions.

  Responsibilities:

  Provide in-depth electrical and component technical support to customers, and serving as the primary point of contact for networking and communication features of our products.

  Deliver courteous and effective frontline telephone support services, addressing technical issues for customers, contractors, Musco technicians, and internal services team.

  Identify and report new and ongoing product performance issues, contributing to the development of processes for upfront detection and troubleshooting. Assist in creating manuals and training team members on effective troubleshooting methods.

  Collaborate with the internal Musco team to maintain the highest quality of customer service.

  Manage product performance-related issues from the first contact through problem resolution.

  Utilize Musco-specific programs for accurate logging, tracking, and routing of call reports and service orders.

  Other duties as assigned.

  Education & Experience Requirements:

  Associates degree in Electronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installations, industrial controls, troubleshooting in a commercial or light industrial environment, or communications (cellular, ethernet, or networking).

  Project management and/or technical support experience is a plus.

  Knowledgeable in technical lingo associated with electronic systems and/or communications, including cellular, Ethernet, fiber, satellite, and networking, or the ability to learn.

  Working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical power and DC electrical applications, or the ability to learn.

  Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

  Ability to work under deadlines and handle pressure while multitasking.

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  Ability to prioritize issues/projects; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  Basic knowledge of Musco systems, products, and services is a plus.

  Knowledge of National Electrical Code and Standards is a plus.
