About this role
Job Purpose:
As an Associate within BlackRock's Global Total Rewards Operations function, the position is a lead role for EMEA Benefits operations and will work with a team of HR professionals in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The role will be responsible for providing support for the delivery of all employee benefit programs in the region. This role will liaise with other team members, as needed, within the Global Total Rewards Operations within all aspects of total rewards (compensation, benefits talent mobility and tax) operations. There will also be growth and learning opportunities within other areas of total rewards and broader HR operations.
This role will focus on providing support to the EMEA Rewards team in the delivery of all benefits programs. This is a great opportunity for mid to senior-level candidates to expand, stabilize and improve BlackRock's EMEA Benefits Operations function.
Main responsibilities include:
Play an integral role in evolving the design and infrastructure that supports effective benefits administration across all benefit programs in EMEA.Own the operational support for the delivery of BlackRock's EMEA financial, wellness and work/life benefits programs.Develop and maintain process documentation across all EMEA benefit programs including periodic audits and reconciliations of processes. Partner with internal HR teams, e.g., Payroll, Rewards, Recruiting and HR Business Partners to understand and synergize the interdependencies with various HR functions. Continuous process improvement and standardization opportunities to provide an exceptional employee experience. Identify areas for automation.Risk management of operational processes and identification of improvement opportunities and controls to reduce risk.
Other responsibilities include:
Liaise with HR stakeholders and teams to resolve complex employee benefit related queries.Support benefits contract renewals in partnership with vendor management and Benefits strategy team.Coordinate periodic reconciliations of EMEA benefit funding, headcount & corporate deposits.Support payroll inputs to the payroll team for any benefits related instructions.Build deep understanding of the EMEA benefits to support junior team members.Vendor management including resolution of operation queries with vendors.Connect with peers (within team and across regions) to share best practices, ideas and solutions.Invest in building a high performing team, understand their career aspirations and development opportunities.Provide peer review support for team members.
Knowledge/ Experience required:
5+ years of relevant experience in EMEA benefits programs and operationsTeam Management experienceKnowledge of HR concepts, processes, and their interdependenciesCapable of grasping new concepts quickly and utilizing it in a productive manner
