This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve - those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.Job Description:It is the responsibility of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide one-to-one services to an identified child/adolescent and family to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, school & community.Schedule Details: Full-Time and Part-Time AvailabilityLocation:Philadelphia County, PAProgram:IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)Pay Rate:$17+/Hour Billable Rate; $12/Hour Non-Billable RateJob Functions:Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/proceduresReport to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive mannerComplete other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisorComplete all training requirements as dictated by the state before working alone with clients (6 hours supervised hours in the field) and any other required thereafterSubmit to Human Resources, promptly, copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal trainingProvide services as defined by the program description, and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standardsMaintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, payers, community support service representatives, co-workers, and other agenciesParticipate in interagency meetings, as required, and represent the agency in an effective and professional manner in all contacts with clients, payers, and collateral staffAbility to work within a group to develop internal systems to improve and ensure quality servicesPrompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skillsProvide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptlySubmit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentationImplement interventions effectively based on the treatment plan and behavior management plan as developed by the Behavior ConsultantProvide crisis intervention to clients, when indicated, to stabilize acute crisesParticipate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as all applicable program staff meetingsData entry and preparation of clinical chartsMinimum Requirements:Education/Certification: Have a High School Diploma, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree OR Have certification as BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician Certification)Required Clearances:Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

  Note:At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceCompensation Package:Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
