About Behavioral Health Coordinator/Medical Secretary

  HealthPartners Regions Behavioral Health Clinic in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator/Medical Secretary to join our growing multidisciplinary team and provide excellent patient care. At our Behavioral Health Clinic, service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. The Behavioral Health Coordinator/Medical Secretary will provide a wide variety of confidential clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the department management and provider staff. They will assist patients, physician and health professional with completion of correspondence, including forms, letters and reports, to perform release of medical information duties in accordance with medical-legal guidelines and to respond. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Required Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent *Minimum three (3) years of personal computer experience *Minimum two (2) years of experience in an office setting providing administrative support; & Must meet one of the following requirements: *One (1) year experience related to billing, release of medical information and forms completion *Two (2) years of medical insurance experience including release of information, workers compensation and third party claims Preferred Qualifications: *Medical Secretary Program completion *One year experience with completion of course work in medical legal guidelines, business communications, and medical office procedures *Completion of a certificate from a Health Career Program, including course work in medical legal guidelines, business communications and medical office procedures Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
